In blinky class they are all exactly the same but just offer different feel. The biggest thing is to get the car to be safe and carry its speed oh and not to crash..

Does anyone know a site where I can download software v1_1_0_21?

Richard, Dropbox is free for the first 2Gb, how about uploading the v1_1_0_21 zip file to a Dropbox shared folder then post a link on here.

Cheers Kev

Thanks Richard. I'll give it a go and hope it resolves the low speed stuttering issue.

Okay, uninstalled Reventon software v1_1_0_22 from my laptop then installed v1_1_0_21

Connected the LCD programming box (no speedo at this stage) and downloaded firmware version 2.6 to the box (2.7 not being available with this version of Reventon software)

Disconnected battery and fan from ESC then connected it to the LCD box and downloaded V20_Stock0 to the speedo.

As a result of all this p*ssing about I now have a speedo that is slightly better than it was before but still stutters at low throttle settings from a standing start. I'm hoping that on the track in race conditions it will not cause me any real problems, the only thing that might be a bit of an issue is lining the car up on the grid for the finals as it doesn't seem to like crawling forward.

So if you see me approaching the grid at about 30 mph then ramming the brakes on, locking all four wheels and arriving at my start position sideways in a cloud of tyre smoke you'll know why

Oh, and by the way Max, sorry for hijacking your thread and going so far off topic. You will have gathered by now that Speed Passion Reventon Pro might not be the best way to go if you're after a speedo.

Regarding a chassis, see if you can pick yourself up a used but good XRay T3 or if you get lucky a newer T4. Both are excellent chassis and Nick (Demon) stocks all the parts you are likely to break at a meeting which means if you do have a big off it's not the end of your days racing... providing your pockets are deep
