IC Finals

Postby NiMo » 17 Dec 2007, 18:22

Have been sitting on an idea for IC finals (actually have been sitting on this for a few years).

Bump up

I was thinking along the lines of:
Top 7 or 8 qualify for main 10 minute A final
The rest in a 5 minute B final, with the top 2 or 3 qualifying for the main A final
(if bigger entry then a C final with top 2 or 3 qualifying for B final)

Only draw back I can see is the availability of pit men.

So IC drivers, let me have your views on this

When I went to the BRCA agm that subject came up, the only people that wanted it were the top drivers as you can see by the nationals next year they are trying it at one meeting but theres not to many drivers for it. At club meetings why change it if drivers are happy, and what about the time factor what you give to i/c you must give to electric we all pay the same to race. :D :D

I agree with Poo as it gives the new comers a chance to try 10 mins of mayhem and get them into qualifying for the A final. If it ain't broke don't mess with it.
