Thanks to Richard and the others for talking about the ESS at the SICC today (a most enjoyable meeting). I managed to book the last entry this evening and then discovered it was 13.5 BLINKEY. Does anyone have a view on a good starting point for the gearing with blinkey? We use 6.9 at Aldershot with our X12

The gearing is set to a minimum or 4 fdr and apparently that's good at adur

Thanks Jay, as good place to start then. Can I just clarify in this context what "minimum" means. Can I set gearing to 4.1 but not 3.9, or is it vice versa?

Thanks Richard, to avoid confusion 3.9 is higher than 4.0 (in gearing context)- which is why I was uncertain about "minimum"
